Learn-To-Smock
The package includes pattern pieces to make a basic yoke dress with short puff sleeves and 2 different collars.
I have
kept the smocking design very simple and basic so that even a beginner can try this.
This was originally sold as a kit, but I don't
have the fabrics anymore, so am just selling the pattern.
Some of my customers have bought the kit and have learned to smock using
this package, so if you want to learn to smock, this will be a good investment for you.
Instructions are given for very basic cable
and baby wave stitches for the smocking. Comes with very well drawn out diagrams to show you how to do them. Also includes instructions
on how to block the finished piece and dress construction. Some basic instructions for embroidery stitches are also included. 13 pages
of instructions in this package!
Please note that you will need a pleater to make the pleats in the fabric and follow the directions
that come with your pleater.
